We are gratified to note that progress of the Wismut remediation project is still very much in the public eye.

Information centres located at each operations office provide first-hand information. In addition to that, our exibition Wismut*Objekt90 takes place in Ronneburg, sites are open for public tours in June in Ronneburg and on Miners' Day at Schlema where visitors can see for themselves remedial progress and results.

Walkers enjoy very much the well-documented mining history and remediation trail at the Schlema-Alberoda site.

In exceptional cases and strictly in accord with remediation operations sequencing, groups of visitors are provided an opportunity of site visits. Please make arrangements for time and date well in advance.
